“I can't stick out a cleanse for more than a week…help me!”
My friend literally shouted this at me over a video chat last week. I laughed out loud and said, “So don’t, If you can you manage a few hours a day, preferably in the morning, then it still works, and you’ll see the difference in your weight, energy and appearance.”
Yep. You can absolutely, 100% cleanse and detox bacteria and viral matter that causes gut issues, weight gain, hormonal imbalance, acne, eczema and so much more.
Okay, so where to start?
The best time to start the body detoxing is as soon as your eyes open - even before you brush your teeth. Yep. I just said that.
You see, the liver detoxes early morning between the hours of 3-4 am, and before all those nasty toxins start moving into different organs and begin to burrow deep down into the layers of tissue and muscle, we want to flush them out. We do this with half a lemon squeezed into 10-16 ounces of water - do this with both halves of the lemon which means you’re drinking a total of 20+ ounces of lemon water. You can add, grated ginger, cayenne and honey if you like - BUT NO APPLE CIDER VINEGAR!!!
Because apple cider vinegar literally pickles the liver. Need I say more?!
Yes, you’ll be peeing - a lot - I know, but that’s how we flush toxins.
Now you can start with this step only until you’re ready to add step 2, but I‘m guessing that most of you will want to add step 2 or at least know what it is so you can prep for the future.
Second step: You’ll need a juicer. And you want to wait at least 20 minutes for the lemon water to flush out the liver before this step. Juice two bunches (not two stalks) of celery and drink. You should get between 16-24 ounces, and you want at least 16 ounces minimum. DO NOT ADD ANYTHING TO THE CELERY JUICE. NO LEMON. NO NOTHING!!!
Celery juice immediately begins to kill bacteria and viruses upon contact, and it begins to strengthen stomach acid A.K.A hydrochloric acid. If your stomach acid is low or weak, you’re likely to bloat after your meals because it can’t break down your food which can lead to digestive issues, constipation, diarrhoea and other embarrassing bodily functions.
So now you have just successfully detoxed your gut organs, blood and cells of harmful bacteria and viral matter. If you can do this every morning then you are cleansing and detoxing. The goal is to try and keep the detox going for as long as you can during the day. And as long as you eat fresh fruit, smoothies (without whey, protein powders, nut butter, dairy) or more juices for your morning until lunchtime, then you’re all set. Do this every morning, and the body starts to compound the detox benefits - kind of like compound interest in your savings account. Every bit you add literally adds up!

Oh, and if you’re really serious about maintaining good health, weight loss and strong immunity, you may want to reduce your intake of gluten, dairy, eggs, processed foods, sugar and oils - trust me just cutting back a small bit makes a massive difference.
